Client Service Associate

The Client Service Associate will assist the operations team in handling daily activities, including account onboarding and handling varied administrative and client service functions. This individual must have strong critical-thinking skills and work well individually as well as part of a team. A qualified candidate is a clear communicator, is detail-oriented, has a high degree of follow-through, handles multiple tasks efficiently, and thrives in a fast-paced working environment where each day is different.


 

DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Facilitate and support the onboarding of new clients to ensure a timely account opening process

  • Perform client related operational tasks and service daily client requests

  • Collaborate with fellow team members to provide exceptional service for existing and prospective clients

  • Help to schedule client meetings and prepare meeting presentations

  • Input data into financial planning software 

  • Maintain and monitor firm’s CRM

  • Work to become a subject matter expert on a wide range of client issues and internal processes as they relate to client operations processes

  • Independently improve and streamline the service model and operational procedures for the team

  • Provide general administrative support

KNOWLEDGE and SKILLS:

  • Proficient in MS office

  • Excel proficiency is helpful

  • Cooperative spirit and drive; Ability to work independently but also in a team

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow through on projects effectively

  • Excellent communication, organizational, interpersonal skills, and phone etiquette.

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s Degree

  • 3-5 years as a Client Service Associate, or in other operational or administrative roles in the financial industry.
